I found the 91 Days series when I was researching our trip to Bolivia. I found myself returning to it again and again. It inspired me to visit even more. I loved the photos, and the writing - informative, funny, and entertaining. I found myself looking at the blog so often, I decided to download the book to my kindle. Now, I just carry it around with me, and read bits of it, when I'm at a spot that Jurgen and Michael also visited. It's not a guidebook in the usual sense, it's just a collection of thoughts and experiences that the writers had while travelling around the country; kind of like having a friend with you, to spark off - get a different opinion from, or share the same view with. They don't just write about the tourist 'hot-spots', they write about strange fruits, discourse on Pachamama, and tell you how to get out of quick-sand when you're stuck waist deep! For me, it's an invaluable little book before, during and after my trip.
