spextacular piece of work
21 January 2012
this is paul's second album after his debut album focal point. it is a vast difference between the last one, and a massive improvement from the his first, (though they are both spectacular).
the song 'everything' is a great piece of fast rock/blues music, which is fast melodic music, with an intense guitar solo that sounds awesome.
the second song 'god paper scissors' is a slow piece of music, which focuses on how religions people feel.
the third song is an excellent long (11 minute) song, called 'borderlines' this is a song about war, and the loss of life which i find to be a pretty emotional affair. (this is by far my favourite on the album).
the following fourth song tears is an excellent rendition of a slow emotional piece of music which is worth a listen.
the fifth song is a blues style song called 'you know' which is a mix of fast blues rock, with slow blues riffs.
the sixth song entitled 'hindsight' is a slow piece of music which is about how you feel looking back on specific times in your life, (emotional or happy).
the seventh song entitled 'feel this way' is a slow melodic piece of rock music which has a spectacular solo midway that lasts almost until the end. it is, in my opinion, about how you feel when you catch a glimpse of someone that takes your breath away, well worth a listen.
the eighth song entitled ' when it rains' is a slow piece of music which explains how it feels when you are on your own going through life.
the penultimate song number nine, entitled ' waiting' is a piece of spectacular music that is complete with an excellent vocal harmony midway through which seals the deal.it is probably the most emotional song on the album with a spectacular feeling.
lastly the final song entitled' the human race' this is a medium pace rock song which shows what impact the human race has on the planet.
these are my own ideas of what each song is about, others will no doubt have different opinions.
in my opinion, paul cusick is the best up and coming artist to date, and i cannot wait to hear what he has got coming up.
5 out of 5 stars for a brilliant piece of work.
