Fab-u-lous, the big labrador loves it!

For anyone thinking of buying a Doggy Hut, just buy one! It's fantastic! Did quick trial down gravelly track and it was brilliant, like pushing a bicycle, not difficult even with it loaded with 38Kg of Dudley in it, some people on reviews said it was difficult to steer, twaddle easy as pie for me with a bad back, no effort at all! We've managed to keep the wheels on and load it on to back seat of car (Honda CRV) by removing strengthening bar across the top which hubby said isn't needed as all weight is on base so we won't put that bit back on again, then the top folds in, so all you have to remove is the release clips, sprung loaded ones on the handlebar and take the handlebar off, then it folds down and fits in. You probably couldn't get it in if your back doors were narrow! Dudley 13 year old black labrador with bad hips loved it, tried to get out though at one point so you do have to attach lead to his collar, it also comes with safety lead. Dudley was sat up in it and sniffing the air! I would struggle getting him by myself out as he can't lift his back hips so needed two of us, me to lift his back hips up through rear opening and husband to get him out the front. I would advise thick grippy bed on base, we only had a thin one just for a bit of comfort and extra padding, and a pillow to rest dogs head on! :) I have to say already best £149 I have spent, this means we can all go out and about again without a) leaving Dudders at home b) leaving Dudders in the caravan or c) not going out full stop! 10/10! Maximum weight load 40Kg, dudley had room to curl up or sit like stone lion, if you had a huge dog would be too small but Dudders is a big 38Kg labrador. Looks really sporty not like a pram! I had to wait for husband to come home to put it all together, a bit like building a simple bike, I was worried I would do it wrong so left it to him and he found it pretty simple although he has a mind for these things! The best thing was I thought it would be heavy to lift and steer but was lightweight, and it glided along!
