Good product, but was not clearly a plug and play process for us.

It took us nearly a year to get this work. So sad. We read the instructions, we made sure that it was plugged into a wall socket and nothing. Finally, we gave up and thought that perhaps because we have to electrical panels that it was the reason. I ordered another TP-Link device and that one didn't work because it was not meant for Mac (amazon specs did not help). However, I did notice on a YouTube video that it was best to shut of the router, plug the device to the electrical outlet, and modern and then turn the modem on. Well there you go. We now have extended our wireless to our pool house which is in a separate building about 100feet/30m from the router. The signal is medium and sometimes goes week, but I can now work from the warm pool house dung the cold UK winters without the need to crank up my heat in the house. Also, we like to project movies from our computer at night from the pool side.
