Haywire - the 'B' movie
on 2 June 2017
Music - irritating and it reached a point whereby I was distracted by it and lost track of the film and had to rewatch sections several times.
Several good actors and individual performances while failing to provide a team effort.
The fight scenes were very over-the-top and theatrical - OK, as long as you do not try to do this stuff for real.
The script seemed to have been written by a writer who did not appreciate the subtleties of language - blunt American English, despite actors of Australian and Spanish backgrounds, playing characters with those languages.
Created in Australia and repackaged in America and suspect that the sound-track was remastered in America as well.
Had this been put out in the days of my youth in the 1950s, then this film would have been the 'B' movie.
