This is symphonic black metal along the lines of Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. The band are from Taiwan which influences the music greatly bringing a strong oriental feel to the songs. There is use of traditional instruments and the lyrics are based in Taiwanese folklore reflecting a tragic period in the countries history. The songs sound vast with excellent interplay between the female and male vocals. Chthonic take you on a journey.

I found this band on Myspace, I was hooked straight away! The 2 songs I listened to on Myspace were Bloody Gaia Fulfilled and Quasi Putrefaction and well its the best black/death metal ive heard in a while, you should buy this album!

Brilliant Album, unfortunately can't get it to play on my X-box 360, And the track listings are mixed up. But that's nothing to do with the sale. The album can easily be one of Chthonic's best.
