This playhouse is great. It is very easy to put up, which was a big incentive for us in choosing it. We spoke to a lot of other parents who had bought playhouses from other suppliers for similar prices but had spent hours and hours putting them together (one even used a professional carpenter, and it took him a day!). Whereas this one was about the easiest DIY job we've ever done. The walls come ready made so it is simply a case of putting it together and putting the roof on. It took about 30-45 minutes at the most for two of us to put it together.
We also ordered the wooden floor - we actually ordered it from their main website, not amazon. Service has been great from the company. It doesn't need to be painted but we painted the front pink.
We've also left stuff in it overnight and it is absolutely fine - completely watertight. It withstood the recent thunderstorms, and it is lovely to be able to leave toys and cushions overnight.
Most importantly our little one absolutely loves it, as do her friends. So all in all a great buy.
Overall very good quality, really easy to assemble although I would say 2 people are definitely required. My daughter absolutely loves it, the finish is slightly rough and although it comes with a 10 year anti rot guarantee it definitely needs to be treated upon assembly.
We purchased this from the main website not amazon. Had 2 pieces split on arrival and very rough finish. 10 year rot maybe but would recommend treating upon assembly. The roof overhangs over the front a fair way, judging by the instructions it was meant to have a front porch as well but this is not advertised at all so it wasn't included. We also purchased the floor separately but it fits inside the house on the ground rather than the house sitting on the floor so the house itself sits on the ground also. We have had to prop it up on bricks so it doesn't sit in water when it rains. We did send an email to the website as the courier never got in contact with us to let us know when they were delivering which we were informed on the website they would. The customer services were very prompt and got us information straight away, upon informing them there were pieces split they did offer a replacement but as we had already built it and managed to glue them together (just about) we declined. The house is waterproof but you definitely need 2 people to put it up, we found if you didn't keep the walls dead straight and flush with each other you had gaps as the wood itself is fairly soft so screwing the screws in won't "pull" the wood together. Needed a bit of sanding on some of the edges. We plan to build our own porch as we are finding the roof is bowing due to the rain and weight of it. Also needs a handle to put on inside of door as only one provided for outside of door.
