In a summary, what it is: an A5 sized book with gridded pages. The paper is light, but has enough substance to it to take on the ink of a fountain pen (for reference, I use a Lamy safari with a fine nib). The gridded pattern is interesting in that there aren't completed squares, and they are faint blue grey lines against a cream page.
If you're looking for a book with Leutthrum (sp) details like index for pages, page numbers, a pocket for papers- you don't get that here, and will have to do that work yourself. The cover is a bit thin, so a book cover to protect the edges won't go amiss. I also use a pengrip from papelnote to hold the pens and book pages together.
