Still contains one of the best guitar solos i;ve ever heard, both /may and Van Halen are on top form, stunningly way ahead of it's time.

This is clearly an 'unofficial' release -- more than likely one of the many Russian bootlegs currently masquerading as Japanese Queen CD's. The clue can be found in the vinyl scratches heard on 'Son of Star Fleet'. Apart from this track, the quality is very good, so if you don't have the Star Fleet tracks it is probably worth buying.

(LINK: The only official single-disc release of the Star Fleet mini-album is on the Japanese Resurrection CD. It does not include the instrumental B-side 'Son of Star Fleet' but adds a few good Brian May Band live tracks)

Absolutely amazing guitar work from lead guitarist of Queen Brain May. You also get a treat from guitarist Eddy Vavhallan which complement each other perfectly. Probably two of the best guitarists in the world produce something timeless. Retro performance which we will never see or here again. Star fleet was out way before trancformers so you can see where the influence came from. However it's all about the music 🎶 and particularly the impressive guitar work. Put simply if you like exceptional guitar work you have to buy it, you won't be disappointed.

perhaps Brian May's finest hour. I've been looking for this album for years and it sounds just as wonderful as when it first came out. Van Halen and Brian May jamming together - it doesn't get much better.
