Been using a brilliant old (15 years) piece of tight weave muslin, for filtering honey. It finally become washed out, so replaced it last year with Winware product.
Noticeably more gappy weave in this muslin, which let's larger bits of propolis, wax into jars when straining. Not too much of a problem, but allows through, dead bee legs & other foreign bodies.
Avoid this material for fine filtering. Back to the fabric shop for me

This doesn't come in a roll as stated but the muslin works as well as any I've ever used, i use it for filtering elderflower cordial as you can never get all the tiny insects out before you start, this musiln does the job.

Very disappointed in the deception of this product.

The item does not arrive in a roll which is why I purchased it and quality isn't anything to scream about. Might as well go to a local material shop for the same thing.

Not quite sure how I've managed without this in the kitchen for so long. Good quality. A word of warning, though, it doesn't come on a roll; its folded. I don't care, but if it matters to you, it worth knowing

Bought to make nut milk bags, and for covering ferments that need to breathe oxygen. Large cloth, good value for money.

Economical way to buy muslin I use it for holding herbs in casseroles this avoids having to pull out woody bits,my husband uses it in wine making. It is also useful in blending pastels in Art.

Did a fantastic job when straining my home made shots or juices.
Thin but I've been reusing without any problem plus there's plenty to cut from to be able to customermise size.

The product itself is what is expected: decent quality muslin. The packaging is disastrous: just thrown in a dirty old sheet of brown paper - doesn't seem very hygienic for a product mainly intended for food handling. So first thing, had to wash it before even thinking of using it...
