What`s not to like about this EP. Acoustic guitar and a beautiful voice. No unnecessary frills or over-production. The songs have a gentle fragility and simplicity missing in most music nowadays. No need for the usual so called `diva` approach with overblown vocals trying to get as many notes in a single phrase as possible. Lovely songs sung by a lovely voice. Buy this, listen and be amazed.
Such excellent and at times hauntingly beautiful vocals that draw you along tales of friendship love and loss.. I so love this cd.. Take time out and be seduced by Sarah's voice as she sings her heart out. Beautiful beguiling and moreish.. Backed by Richard's guitar work with Maj7's and minors hand crafted accompaniment. With this cd, winter never comes. Surely not.. Enough said..Get it now and enjoy...
Sarah's voice is simply beautiful and the amazing thing is it's just as good, if not better, live. If you ever get the chance go and see Paper Aeroplanes live - go! I've seen them twice now: in a rain soaked tent at Greenbelt and in a half filled theatre in Newtown and in spite of the problematic conditions on each occasion the quality of the music simply shone through.
Beautiful EP from Richard and Sarah. It's well worth buying, as is the rest of their entire back catalogue. Winter never comes is a brilliant song, with stunning vocals from Sarah. A new band to discover and fall in love with.
I had only heard one track on this cd and took a chance. Its worth it! If you fancy something from the normal commercial stuff buy it. Will be seeing Paper Aeroplanes in November after hearing this cd and another of theirs.
