A Ho Hum product.
on 20 April 2014
(The Americans have a saying - Ho Hum =which means not too sure, maybe a bit iffy. This seemed just right for my opinion of the cooker.)
It seems to work OK except the frying pan feature, which has no temperature control. I have used it quite a lot, especially for stocks.
I might not be using it correctly. The instructions are disgraceful, and rewire you to guess at poorly drawn sketches printed on a scrap of poor quality paper.. On the contrary the heavy glossy recipe book is well produced in colour, and its only disadvantage is that it seems to have been written, and oh so well photographed , for the French market. I had not heard of many of the required ingredients.
Unless you are brave, and ready for the odd explosion, or have a friend who owns one of these and is willing to show you, then my advice is to avoid this product.
This seems hard, but Moulinex ought to realise that this is a product that could be dangerous, and deserve to be panned for their casual approach.
