Very sensitively written. Sets out exactly what happens when Mum gets old and can not live alone anymore, although she wants to. Now some one must care and look after Mum.

A very touching life story. Gives idea as to what carers go through with their emotions. Not easy to leave a person with Alzheimer's to continue living on their own safely after a time. To look after them 24/7 is a hard task indeed.

I had a similar experience with my mother in Wales, England, but the financial implications are easier here. A realistic account of how a daughter would feel and cope with enabling a loved elderly mother/relative to move to safety. I too, was the only relative who was involved enough to help and I found this account true to life.
