I believe that a big Pearl Jam fan will hardly have any patience or care to spend alot of time reading reviews before buying this item. Unless if it's out of anticipation. Eddie Vedder means alot as a musician to Pearl Jam fans. To have a clearer daydream about this item if it's on its way to you, here is the songlist

As for new or less-than-big fans, it's an acoustic live rock show. He wrote amazing songs and lyrics. In this show, he's playing the ukelele, acoustic guitar and electric guitar (e.g. Stratocaster had that beautiful clean ringing sound played on "Forever Young"). He was joined by other musicians a couple of times on the stage. The songs could breathe but they were played with alot of care that they did not feel lacking any other instruments to me. They were written to be played this way, I believe. The way the DVD was shot is great too. Alot of close-ups on Eddie and the ukelele. It's never too late to discover the world of Eddie Vedder (and Pearl Jam as well) songs and music. It is easy to catch up if you like them because you will enjoy the process. That's actually the best part if you liked them so very much.

Been a Pearl Jam fan since their begining and anything that lead singer Eddie vedder does solo is always worth a listen. What you get here is Eddie at is raw best, kind of intimate but still gets your adrenaline pupping with his powerful voice. He also shows the funny side with stories to the lucky crowd. This is a must for any PJ fan and anyone who likes someone singing with pure passion and effort.Water On The Road [DVD] [2011]

Eddie Vedder is as fantastic as ever. His solo material is different from Pearl Jam but every bit a pleasure and stunningly amazing. It may not appeal to every Pearl Jam fan but I loved it, I hope he keeps up his solo material as well as Pearl Jam too. I have been a Pearl Jam fan for years and think Eddie has the voice of an Angel and this was wonderful to watch and listen to there were tracks from the spectacular Into the Wild soundtrack and other material I had not heard, also backstage material. I love it.

For Vedder, this is really mellow compared to the Pearl Jam stuff he's done. There appears to be many influences in this dvd which Vedder talks about. He seemed to enjoy doing this and it was nice to see the man behind the music. Great dvd.

His voice is still brilliant 20 years on. No matter what type of song, loud or soft, he somehow manages to pull it off. Plus he's very funny. Buy this dvd -if you like Pearl Jam or great voices like Jim Morrison you'll love this.

I simply love Eddie Vedder's music and this DVD is no exception. It's brilliant and whenever I perform myself, I think that being as soulfull as Eddie I can always do better.
