I've snapped a couple of resistance bands in the past - being a bit taller than average means I need to stretch them a bit further than average, with the almost-inevitable result. So I've been looking for a set that would allow me a full range of motion without giving up half-way through and so far these seem to be fine - I went for the 'strong' set just to make sure. They are slightly different to the hollow rubber tubes, like outsized elastic bands, that you usually get as resistance bands - these are more like the fabric-covered bungee cords you use when camping or securing roof-racks. The handles are comfy to hold, although the webbing strap that loops through them isn't fixed so the handle can slide off-centre while you're working, but it's a minor point. Really happy with them otherwise, seem really good value at the price paid.
I bought this along side some of the other Fitness mad items, kettle bells, press up bars, chin up bar. I have found this to be the most effective and also terrifying of them all the number of times I have stretched this and moved or not quite had it, the recoil on these is tremendous a great work out from divine around the room in agony.
Jokes aside it is really helping me on my health journey from 105kg down to 84kg and a few more to go. it allows me to train wherever i want as it fits neatly in my case for travel
