A compelling and sincere account from a man torn between his family (both his father and the jihadist terrorist group Hamas) and the West. Yousef develops insight into western values through interaction with Israelis and American Christian groups - all of whom surprise him by the sheer fact that they were not the demons proscribed by his Hamas 'brothers'. A great read - highly recommended.

Very good book & praise God for using this book to expose the double standard /lies of the Hama & Palestinian leaders who put the lives and welfare of their people at risk for selfish reasons. It reminds me of the Animal Farm story.I also admire the courage of the author in writing a book on a very sensitive topic.

Very readable. Unputdownable!
I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in the Palestine/Israeli conflict and in the land of Israel generally. In fact this should be essential reading for anyone interested in world news.

An interesting and unique record of a young man experiencing both sides of an intractable situation. His motives may be somewhat obscure and some of his historical 'facts' unreliable, but there is no doubting his sincerity and his wish for peace. How much his religious conversion bears on all this, I found somewhat difficult to fathom.
Definitely a worthwhile read for those wishing to gain a further insight into both sides of the Israel/Palestine 'Narrative'.

I read this book with a bit of scepticism but found it to be quite readable, if a little odd. I just cant believe some of what was written and that Hamas have allowed him to escape their clutches and retribution. He seems to make it sound so easy to become an Israeli agent and I was not totally convinced. It is worth reading but there is no real insight into the world of Gaza and Hamas which I hoped to read about.

A great read on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. A moving and touching story by Mosab. Do read this book, and to Mosab, I wish you all the luck in the world.

very honest guy telling an honest story about two population getting manipulated instead of trying to be tolerant to each other s and seeing the future and not fighting for the passed anymore.Ashe says both nations should vilify the hate instigators and live in peace instead of following a few negative people ending with the blood sheds from too many innocent lives...

If you want to understand why there is constant conflict in Israel between the Palestinian Muslims and Israeli Jews, then read this book. Written by the son of one of the Hamas founders. A remarkable man with an honest story to tell, worthy of attention. Non-heavy/easy to understand.

What an insight into Hamas and how Gaza is run by them. Mosab`s life story is the main link to Hamas because of his father`s position in Hamas and all through the narrative you can tell how much he respects and loves his father, mother and siblings.I was amazed when he became a follower of Jesus Christ .Outstanding story, incredible strength of character.
