I needed a robust and water resistant stopwatch for Motor racing. It got its first test run last weekend and we had some extremely heavy showers (severe enough that we had to halt racing for a while) and it held up perfectly.

It's chunky and easy to grip and the carabiner clip design makes it perfect for me as it can be clipped onto fences or radio loops on overalls etc.

Time will tell how robust it is, but so far so good.

The only tiny gripe I have with it is that the lanyard is not a proper breakaway - there's a clip in at the bottom and you can click the physical stopwatch out, but the lanyard itself is not a breakaway. For any kind of sports usage, I would consider this to be a safety issue - but given that it's a free lanyard, hardly a major product defect - just something to be aware of.

Overall, I'm very happy with it so far. If the manufacturer is reading this, I would love to get one the same as this but also with a lap counter option! :)

I bought this for my daughter for her 8th birthday - she loves it, and uses it to time all sorts of things, which of course helps with her numbers and counting without her realising it :-) The unit is really sturdy and solid and feels high quality - the yellow and black design is also rather cool too. The unit has a stopwatch to one-hundredth of a second, and a clock - beware that it also has an alarm, so if you wonder why your present is beeping at you it means you've accidentally set the alarm :-) Switching between the clock and stopwatch is quite simple and done by pressing the middle button - the only slight issue is that if you aren't careful switching modes you can accidentally go into "set clock/alarm" mode, but even if that happens you just press it again and it comes back out, so not really an issue. Would definitely recommend and a great affordable, alternative present for kids!

Looks like good value.

To turn the hourly beeping off:
With the current time displayed on the screen, hold down the Split/Reset button and then press the Mode button just once. When you do this, the small bars shown under the days of the week should all disappear and the beeps should now be turned off.

You can check whether hourly beeps are currently set to on/off by holding down the Select button in time mode. If all the days of the week light up, beeps will be on. If they don’t, it’s off. Simply toggle it on/off using the Mode button as above.
