This new release with liner notes by Peter Gamble and 2 classic albums from 1960 will appeal to both collectors and those looking for fine examples of inspirational jazz albums of the era. The recordings were both made with class sidemen and for a well established label. The combination of self penned compositions and music from the standard songbook make for a most interesting comparison. The spirit of the performance on both "If I Should Lose You" CD1 track 6 and "The More I See You" CD2 track 5 overwhelm this listener. As always these are a most welcome addition to the Not Now jazz catalogue. The packaging is attractive and the illustrations bring to life another legendary performer. The sound quality is excellent throughout. Soul Station and Roll Call are both landmark albums in the sparkling playing of Hank Mobley. Great value.
