Could do better
on 26 June 2011
Ace have already issued just about everything here on other CDs making this one not really essential if you already have a big collection of Ace CDs.
Surely there were many London singles which flopped and which would have made it more interesting to the collector. Its also rather sloppy to include the 1956 recording of what was supposed to be a 1960 remake.Did nobody realise that amongst all these experts? Shirley & Lee were on the Warwick label in 1960 as they say but what they include is the version from 4 years earlier!
Something of a rip off here as these CDs are aimed at collectors who already have most of what's here-let's have another Bubbling Under or a CD called America's Greatest Flops
