Always loved Benjamin Zephaniah's poetry. It's great for all ages and really handy to have as a five minute filler for the classroom.

Only recently discovered by me (through Monty Don's series on crafts), I bought three volumes of Zephaniah's poetry and devoured it one afternoon. I am so impressed and keep returning to it. If you don't already know his work, please try some - you are in for a huge treat!
