When I bought this game I assumed it would just be the same format as it's 2 predecessors so I was really surprised when I found that it had even more things to do such as creating your own duel puzzles and the deck evaluation system. The thing I was most pleased about though was the differing ways of starting a duel in the story mode such as in Crash Town to start you have to rapidly enter a sequence of buttons or when turbo dueling someone ie Yusei you have to race them to the first corner just like in the show! This I feel made it more interesting and diverse than just playing Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who goes first.

This is a great game featuring a very comprehensive collection of cards from the Duel Monsters, GX, and 5D's series and other expansions in between from the OCG. You can comfortably build any deck you like (after you've put in the hours to collect the cards in-game, of course). Having to start at the bottom and unlock the cards, unlike sites like Duelling Network where all cards are reeadily available, forces you to become familiar with archetypes and dueling styles and strategies that you might not be aware of or comfortable with. This does make you a better duelist overall (even if you have to wait before you can construct your own real life deck and see how it fairs in-game).

The story is great and immerses your avatar into the 5D's world from before the first series at first (parallel to the Team Satisfaction story-arc in the show) to preparing for the WRGP (during the Earthbound Immortal story-arc) up through the WRGP story-arc itself (the Yliaster story) and so covers the breadth of the 5D's world. The one disappointing thing was the story cuts off before the Nexus story-arc itself so I am baffled as to why the game is called "Over the Nexus" when the Nexus isn't even in it. That aside (and not being able to face Zone and his super-powerful Timelord deck) I was pleased with it enough to continue playing even now.

The gameplay in itself is an evolution of previous installments with turbo duels and crash town style all thrown in with duel puzzles on the menu as well. All in all with introductions to the game and deck analysis, anyone can play this game, get into it and enjoy it.

This is an excellent yu gi oh game it has a good 3000+ cards to collect and a ton of unlockables such as structure decks, clothes for your avatar, duel disks, You can also change what your character says in a duel.
Also in the story mode when you have a duel they do a quick 3d avatar viewing of the duel disk setting up with your character. The duels flow well in the game and they are tons of people to duel in story mode and free duel mode with lots of different decks.
There is a small downside as the A.I can take a while to make moves when they field gets hectic.
Along with a new game plus mode and you can gain star chips and get new items.

There is a excellent tutioral for newcomers and duel puzzles and even a deck analysis mode

Overall an excellnt game for a fan of the TCG

Love the western theme in this one, its a nice change from the previous games games.
The only problem i had so far was that my router uses WPA 2 security and the game required WEP security in order to use the online features. Changing the router security settings to WEP solved the problem.

great game for any hardcore YGO fan, can be slow when the field gets packed and takes a little while to build solid decks but it forces you to use a great variety and learn how other decks work. Excellent for on the go.

It's a good game if you are interested in the yugioh series/game. Other than dueling and card collecting it contains puzzles, a story and the ability to create your own puzzles.
