Perhaps a bit too much value for money
on 2 May 2014
Works perfectly and 'does the job' but the quality is poor. The plastic is light and thin and the contacts for batter and mains connections are jsut poorly aligned thin bits of metal.
Most worryingly of all it doesn't have a connection to the third pin of the battery: the temperature sensor pin, so has no way to sense an overheating battery. This probably isn't critical since I would like to think it will shut down if it senses a current based overload but it still seems like cutting corners one notch too far.
Still. The official UC-50 charger is a lot more expensive, so you have to make a choice.
