Glassjaw haven't released any studio material since 2002, so this group release of late 2010's five standalone singles is a godsend for those of us who've been waiting these past more than eight years.

So is it worth the wait? ...No, not is isn't.

Does that mean it isn't great? No, not at all. The EP is fantastic. It lacks the sheer velocity and inspiration of their earlier work but the songs are still well worth the money for a download.

The fleet-fingered opening riff of 'All Good Junkies Go To Heaven' is a highlight, with a bizarre excursion to a live recording midway through. Closer 'You Think You're John ******** Lennon' is one of the heaviest songs Glassjaw has ever recorded with a faintly hilarious bait-and-switch introduction - another great song with a tricksy time signature.

All in all, this isn't quite as good as the Glassjaw of old but still worth paying for.
