this rice is the fastest,easiest way to have hot,properly cooked rice.not to mention the cleanest.first you tear the top strip across,give the sides a little squeeze to open the top and steady the bottom and sit in the microwave.2 mins and it all slides onto the plate,not all stuck to the packet.i have had it with various sauces and with curry you can't tell it's steamed brown rice.i have also eaten it by itself and it was surprisingly nice,and no pot to wash.there are no bad points with this rice.it's all good and good for you.enjoy.
Another tasty rice pouch from Tilda. The brown basmati rice has a nicer texture and flavour than the white grains. As with all these products, there is precious little of the vegetables and stuff and its 99% rice, but actually that's OK. I take these things in to work in my lunch box as a healthy (I hope) low GI alternative to a roll or sandwich. Quick and easy to heat up, so long as you've got access to a microwave.
