This is a fantastic album. The arrangements are great and provide a unique take on some classic songs. Well worth a listen.

I stumbled over the work of Scala from the soundtrack of an episode of the TV series 'Covert Affairs' which used their version of Damian Rice's 'The Blower's Daughter' and haven't looked back. Some albums do have duplicate tracks so check the listings if that is something that bothers you and some feature German original tracks which are as interesting and beautiful as all the rest, if unfamiliar. Haunting choral pieces that stay with you.

I really enjoyed this 2 disc set. The music is a medium between modern and classic: soothing and uplifting.I have played the music continually, in my car, since it arrived. My favourite track at the moment is, "California Dreaming" -the arrangement is powerful.
