A quick and readable fantasy short story
on 5 August 2012
This is not a bad little short story; it is fast-paced and quite readable on the whole. It could do with a little proof-reading as there are a few niggling mistakes scattered throughout, but these don't detract from the reading of it too much. The story forms the first part of a series of tales featuring Crimzon the dragon and Clover, a lucky human huntress who stumbles across Crimzon at a time of need, forming a strong friendship over time.
Just over 40% of the download is taken up by the main story; there is also another brief short story that is worth the read and a large excerpt from another book. The download as a whole is clearly aimed to advertise the author's other works, but this is quite clear from the summary and this download makes for a reasonable introduction to the author's work.
