Done the video showing what you get. Has worked really well for me, was moving the CPU from a dead motherboard to a new one. Cleaned up the old thermal paste easily, and applying the new thermal paste was easy. Full Instructions are on Artic Silvers website, worth a read even if you've done this before, I have but never heard of Tinting the Chip first, then apply the paste. The only warning to follow with this stuff is that it isnt electrically conductive so cant carry electricity, but is Capacitive so can hold a charge. Be carefull not to get it on anything but the top of the CPU.

Arcticlean 1 smells of lemon and cleans up old thermal gunk easily. Add purifier, dry, then add a small dot of Arctic silver 5. Attach heatsink and job done.
Does what it says on the tin and dropped my overclocked cpu temperature by 8 degrees C immediately.
The very comprehensive instructions are available to download as pdf's from Arctic Silvers website.

Easy to use and very effective thermal paste cleaner and thermal compound.

After dismantling my processor's heatsink to clean it out, I noticed the old thermal compound had been reduced to cracking crumbs of dust. Up to this time, it had been pushing the case fans to the maximum all the time, maxing them out just to open chrome. Performance on flash games had also fallen.

After applying the paste (all easy to do, online instructions are fairly clear and YouTube has plenty of videos), I have not yet had the case fans turned up. Despite reminders that Arctic 5 compound might take up to 200 hours to take full effect, it is safe to say that you will notice immediate results if the old thermal compound has sufficiently degraded (or if you've had to run a computer briefly without thermal compound, which I had to do on this rig).

What you have is one product to clean up old 'contact paste' and the other to give you 'fresh' paste to apply for good thermal contact. As mentioned in other web reviews for best results tear up small strips of micro fibre to help do the job. It is highly recommend that you check out how to use said products by watching the appropriate YouTube video. The bundled cleaner product is first-rate for removing old paste. Use this to get old paste off then Arctic Silver 5 compound and hopefully you should see a variance in temperatures – the resultant being the item in question running cooler. This item should prepare the surface well, for the new application to be used. It is essential that you make sure you follow the instructions for the Arctic 5 paste. Will rejuvenate a pc or provide a new one with the best possible start!

This is good way to ensure the best possible way forward for new builds, repair and just routine maintenance of the CPU or GPU card. Overall this good product does the job well and worthy of full 5 stars.

It's thermal compound and cleaner, and it's the good stuff. Be careful however not to drink the oh so tempting smelling cleaning solutions. MMmmmmm, cleaning solutions... But seriously you'd likely die a painfully Jaundiced death, mmmmmmm painfully jaundiced death...

I am not going to labour the point that is something that can be seen on lots of reviews and web research. Save to say that I have been using this product for years and if applied correctly as per the company's website instructions it will lower the temperatures of your components to a good degree, this will allow you to overclock those components a little as required. 5 stars guys buy with confidence.

This product literally saved me hundreds of pounds. My Sony Vaio laptop has always had very noisy fans, which over time got to the point where it basically became unusable due to the constant fan noise. A search on the net revealed that Sony use a very solid (or cheap!) heat-sink paste and replacing it with a more conventional paste can solve the problem. Took the laptop apart, and used the kit to clean/prep/and apply the new paste and now it runs with the merest whisper of fan noise. I kid you not - the difference really is that dramatic. Worth every penny!

Great products.
Good deal.
Used other thermal compounds before to fix YLOD on PS3's, this has worked better so far.

When it comes to a product like this it's pretty simple. It's a bundle to make sure your surface is cleaned and purified. Using a higher end thermal paste will make a difference when it comes to improving your temperature. Remember, Thermal Paste is what bridges the gap between your CPU and the heatsink and making sure that bridge is strong and as heat conductive as possible to efficiently cool is going to be noticeable from using stock compound to Arctic Silver 5.

Bottle Labeled as 1 helps remove all thermal compound already present on your chip-set. It's an easy process, make sure not to put too much on as leakage onto your motherboard can cause some severe problems; use a cloth to instantly dab areas where you've applied too much to minimize that risk. Bottle Labeled as 2 purifies the surface. You may feel this is unnecessary, however even if you've done an excellent job removing as much thermal compound as you think, some particles may remain behind and the purifier deals with that which is not visible to the eye as well, and provides a direct contact surface for when you apply the thermal compound. All the steps are labelled clearly enough on the bottles themselves, I'm aware other reviewers posted links to more in-depth instructions however I don't believe it's that necessary, if you're really struggling there's plenty of youtube content to go by to help you out.

If you're looking to change your CPU cooler out, build a new computer, or just need your thermal paste changed then I recommend getting this bundle. The thermal compound here will have less uses to it than the other 2 bottles so you can just buy the paste in the future, but this is definitely a worthy kit to get. You'll be wanting to change your thermal paste once every year or so to ensure best cooling results, the paste does eventually dry up and that impacts the conductivity between it, the CPU, and the cooler.
