Good Story, badly written.
on 11 September 2012
I have to admit, the story was quite compelling reading. Did feel a little derivative, and, I disagree with a previous reviewer, not as good as Dan Brown.
What this book really needs is a good edit. There are far too many unnecessary bits of information that don't appear to have anything to do with the story. The author spent 3 pages describing some super aeroplane, then the thing was never mentioned again, except to say it transported Dr Sterling to America, which we already knew. Every piece of Military hardware, Historical Site and every Military/CIA unit was given a thorough description, history, in-depth user guide and TLA (Far too many TLA's!)all of which showed great research, but all of which was totally unnecessary to the plot. It really started to grate after a while.
Few typos and grammatical errors - maybe because it is written in American.
Apart from that it was a good read.
