A fantastic collection of Memphis Minnie's recordings, the majority of the tracks are early 1930's. Great blues by a great guitarist and vocalist. It is good to get away from sterile clean hi-fi sound and listen so some crackly classic blues. I love the blues and I am always out looking for other vintage albums. If you have not heard of Minnie, she inspired Led Zeppelin to record one of her numbers 'When The Levee Breaks'. Minnie recorded that in 1929.... took us a while to get round to it. Also 'Can I Do It Fir You?' influenced Bob Dylan, so you may have heard her music all be it indirectly. A great way to collect vintage blues and a reasonably priced 2 CD set, well worth the money.
