TOP 500 REVIEWERon 17 December 2015
I regard the 1980s as being one of the very best decades for pop music, and this DVD compilation contains 16 official music videos. The vids haven't been digitally remastered, and it looks as though Intergroove, the company which released this visual playlist has used straight-from-VHS transfers, but the visual quality is still satisfying for viewing.

There are lots of great songs here, and most of them are from very big named artists, whose secondary hits have sometimes be used. Personal favourites for myself include a very sexy Bonnie Tyler in the Jim Steinman produced 'Holding Out For A Hero', with it's wonderfully overly dramatic video, 'China in Your Head' by T'Pau, and that guilty-pleasure ballad 'I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight' by Cutting Crew.

This decade was responsible for the start of the whole music video era, which brought visual life to the songs. All of these wonderful films have '1980s' written all over them, from the over-the-top fashion and big hairstyles, to the simple way of filming. They make for great nostalgia, and if you were a child/teenager at the time, will bring back some very happy memories.

I bought this for my friend's 50th birthday. She loved the dvd & said it felt like she was back in the 80's, just watching it. Highly recommended.
