Great product - Effective and good quality! Expensive but worth the money.

Cooling sensation when applied. They gave instant relief and didn't move off my nipples. I just wish they lasted longer than 24 hrs.

Great product for soothing painful, damaged nipples, especially if you keep them in the fridge before use. However, there are a couple of points I need to make:
1 - the instructions are pretty poor, and you wouldn't think you would need much instruction but they still manage to make it unclear. The instructions tell you to 'Remove gel pad from the plastic liner.' (Peel the stiff backing sheet off one side of the pad exposing the sticky surface) and then 'Gently place the gel side of the pad directly over
your nipple.' (that's the sticky side you just exposed). So the pad has an adhesive coating which glues to your nipple to hold it in place. There are 2 main problems with this - firstly it means you have to wash your boob before feeding to remove any sticky residue which is a nuisance, but secondly if you have painful nipples, peeling sticky glue off them hurts!!!
You can reduce the stickiness by running the sticky side under the tap for a little while before sticking the pad on, but the instructions tell you "To improve soothing, brie y pass the gel side of the pad under a cool stream of water (1-2 seconds), shake off excess water and set aside for 2 minutes. Do not rinse more than twice a day." - setting the pad aside to dry for 2 minutes means that they get super sticky again so I ignored that bit and stuck them on whilst wet. It says to only rinse twice max during a day's use. Whether that's because it will affect how sticky the pad remains, or if it's due to keeping the surface as germ free as possible I'm not sure, so whether it's wise to keep rinsing or follow the instructions here I can't say.

The other thing to be aware of is the small print which says 'Extra care should be taken if using with cracked nipples or fungal infection' - if your nipples have thrush, they will hurt. If they hurt, you may well buy some of these pads to try and ease the discomfort. If you use these pads over a nipple with thrush you are creating a warm, dark, moist environment perfect for candida to thrive! Using these pads if you have thrush on your nipples is a very, very bad idea and will make the pain worse not better as it worsens the infection!
If your nipples are painful after a period of being pain free, if the nipple and areola are pink or red and shiny, if you have pain which worsens towards the end of a feed or which hurts between feeds, and if the pain is an itchy, burning or stabbing pain then see a doctor to see whether you need clotrimazole cream before trying these pads. If you do have nipple thrush (and you can have even if baby is a symptomatic) these pads will only make it worse, so see a doctor!

Aside from that though, if you are using them to soothe sore nipples at the start of your breastfeeding journey or if you have damage from feeding a bitey toddler, they are great stuff so 4 stars for the pads and 1 star lost for the unclear and unhelpful instructions.

Amazing product. Does exactly what it says. Helped with healing my cracked nipples, when nothing else worked.

These pads are really nice, but bear in mind that all they really are is a moist pad.

If you suffer from sore nipples and want to use these daily for, say, 2 years of breastfeeding, at over £10 for 4 (and remember you have two breasts) these would cost you £3,650 at £5 per day.

I had great problems with cracked nipples & the gel made them feel cooler & soothed which was lovely. However as each patch can only be used for 24 hours I feel it is a fairly pricey product.

Would recommend these pads, really effective pain relief but expensive so were not able to use them for as long as would have liked to.
