Couldn't put it down
1 October 2018
WWII, Denmark has submitted to the Nazis to avoid loss of lives and in hopes that they can avoid the hostile treatment meted out to Poland and France. British diplomats daughter Hermia grew up in Denmark and after being evacuated ends up running the Danish desk for MI6, but there seems to be a problem: the Germans are finding our bombing raids all to easy to attack, decimating our planes and crews, how are they doing it?
The Olufson brothers become caught up in the resistance movement after Harald takes a shortcut through the local German base. He stumbles into a secret area of the facility and works out that they're tracking British planes using radio waves. Desperate to get the message back to England and help the cause against Nazism we follow him on his risky plot and race against time to get this vital information into the right hands without getting caught.
A small team are working as a resistance force with British assistance but mostly untrained in espionage. They are caught by Peter Flemming a Danish police officer who empathises with the German command, seeks promotion at any cost and has an all encompassing grudge against the Olufson family following the humiliation of his father at the hands of theirs.
Will they manage to escape to freedom?
