This headset was a replacement for another cheap headset that my son had got. Like the first one (different make but similar price) it lasted around 3 weeks before his friends couldn't hear what he was saying. Soon after that it packed in altogether.
I would say to save your money up and buy something of higher quality - you'll end up paying less in the long run and have less hassle too!

Where to start.... I purchased this for £15 in a store as i needed a headset to chat with friends on my xbox. To cut the story short ensure you have a headphone jack on your tv or this will not work unless you buy an RCA adapter. The build quality is low with the whole headset weighing virtually nothing and made from cheap materials and you notice this in a big way. Sure the cable going to your tv is long enough but the other cable which plugs into your controller is too short meaning you sit with the controller close to your body. The audio control switch has three features... game volume rocker, chat volume rocker and microphone on/off switch which is all standard stuff and i would expect nothing less.

The earphones themselves sit on your ear and not around them meaning they feel uncomfortable for the most part which also means you pick up noise from outside the headset i.e. from someone else in the room. Now on to the really bad part of this headset, Even at full chat volume you can only just about here friends talking to you, if you have the game volume anywhere near middle to high then talking to friend is IMPOSSIBLE and the chat from friends only works in the earphone that is on the same side as the microphone. Speaking of the microphone it is clear and picks stuff up but my friends complained that my voice wasn't very loud.

Time for a round up:

PROS: the arm that the microphone is on is well made and bends well, cable to the tv is a good length.

CONS: volume in chat is far too low even at maximum level, cables are cheap standard audio cable that can break easily if caught in a draw or door or stud on, general feeling of cheap plastic, chat audio only works in one earphone, does not include an RCA cable!

Verdict: These are the worse headset i have ever tried.... it's just not a quality product, besides all that you can't use it day to day as the volume is way to low and it lacks the cables that you would normally get with a turtle beach equivalent.

Save your money and avoid!!!

Had one of these for a while and for the money is fantastic value. Build quality is perfectly acceptable and comparing other headsets I defy you to find any headset cheaper than this that does both game and chat sound to this quality.
Unfair to compare to a £100 headset.
