Cheap looking product but works well-enough
on 13 December 2016
Unlike a number of other motion-sensor lights which rely on pressing a single button several times to choose a setting, this one has two discreet switches behind the batteries (on/off and dim/bright). This is an advantage when you are setting up a light that only activates in the dark. The back panel is screwed onto the unit which is then hooked onto two screws (in other words, if you want to fix it more permanently, for instance with high-strength adhesive pads, you will have to figure out how to remove it later to replace the batteries. It works well, giving a decent beam and good sensitivity range. The white plastic is a little cheap-looking, as if designed for a children's room but it is compact and well-made.
