Purchased this for my Dad as a small birthday present. He's a keen angler and really loved the sea to mouth approach of this dvd. He highly recommends it!

Catch & Cook is the River Cottage approach to showing step by step how to get fish from water to your plate...
Okay we all can go to the fishmongers and purchase the fish we want, get it filleted, skinned, and then cook it at home...or we can pull it out of the freezer and get on with it...or we can simply visit the local 'Chippy'.
In this DVD Hugh & Nick show various type of fish that they have caught, the simplistic approach to gutting, filleting and if needed skinning.
They also give an approach to cooking the fish as well, they try sea-fishing, river fishing and give also an insight as to the difference to caught wild fish as to that of farmed fish...you see difference in colour, size and texture...
There is also knowledge of what to look for when shopping at a fishmongers, what to look for and even recommedations of asking the fishmonger for advice...they will want you to return and buy again and fish from them is just as fresh as fish you may catch yourself...
HFW and his team secures another intersting view to fishing as a way of food sorce and not as a sport...
