this is not just a documentary about scott walker, it is ultimately a film about artistic passion. i'm not even what you you would call a scott walker fan, but this had me mesmerised and totally absorbed from start to end.
attention to detail, clever editing, the history, the music; it's clear to see that this film is conceived out of complete and unadulterated admiration for the artist that is scott walker. the testimonials of pops glitterati, past and present are testament to this fact. a cool cool flick, miss it at your peril.

If your a Scott Walker fan then this is a must for you. Don't expect to listen to the Scott Walker as you may have on most of his albums, this is entirely different. If you are one of those with an open mind, of a progressive nature then you will not be dissapointed. This is different by any standards and opens up a new genre of music. Not to be missed.

The documentary itself is fascinating and I only wish it had been longer but this review is for the Blu-ray which isn't even in high-definition! You'll be better off with the DVD which probably looks better than this rip-off. Shame on Verve Pictures for marketing this as high-definition and bringing the wonderful Blu-ray format into disrepute.

A great buy, a really enjoyable documentary that brings to the fore the amazing life and music of the artist. Not be missed.

If you like Scott Walker this film is best avoided as it's spends way too much time concentrating on dull celebrities telling you how great he is with no additional insight. Lost opportunity.

Whether you can hack the later Scott Walker music or not, it is interesting to find out what he has been up to (or was up until the film's release), and to get an inside look at his modus operandi.

This also is utterly essential. By the end of it you really will be using the word genius. Or you will not have reached the end of it.

I could have done without the fawning celebs but I found Scott Walker fascinating. I wish he wouldn't be so reclusive.

The soaring baritone of Noel Scott Engel - who became Scott Walker - has been missing for too long from popular music.
