This is an improvement on the previous commercial audio incarnations of this show.

There are still several songs missing, the CD notes claim this was because Judy was not in her finest voice on the songs in question. I have heard the full concert and found the performances well up to the standard of the rest of the concert ( although "Maggie May" was always a, shall we say, quirky arrangement even on the studio version).

The notes and liner presentation are also not up to DRG's usually high standard and I suspect the tracks were cut down to fit on to a single CD.

Better than nothing, but a lost opportunity to have a full commercial release of this classic concert.

For those who thought that Judy at Carnegie Hall was the album they would bring on a desert island if they were intitled one album only.
Think again! Judy and Liza is an extraordinary album.
The mother daughter team is an incredible one, there is such chemistry between the two, and the fact that a young Liza full of energy always close to stealing the show, gives Miss Garland that extra boost to work the audience twice as much.
2 show stoppers, Pass That Peace Pipe, a whaky interpretatation by Liza and The heart wrenching Never Will I Mary by Judy.
An important note though amazon lists over 40 tracks as if it were a double album, it not it is a 25 track single album.

I have this on a double LP - but here it is now playing in the correct order and with more than the original LP offered. What can you say about Judy that hasn't already been said and with her young daughter Liza - concert magic at it's best.

Anyone familiar with Judy Garland's live work will be aware that most of her sets were much of a muchness, which is why this live London Palladium performance is so refreshing.
Although Garland standards such as 'Smile', 'The Man That Got Away' and the eternal 'Over The Rainbow' are present here, most of the set is made up of previously unreleased medleys and duets performed by mother and daughter in typically gusto fashion - most notably the incomparable 'Hello Dolly' and 'Together Wherever We Go'.
Admittedly it's not Carnegie Hall but this CD is a treat for all Judy and Liza fans regardless. It's pure showbiz history!
So if you haven't got it already - buy it!

A much improved issue over the original. Much clearer and enjoyable with added material omitted from the earlier release.

what can one say but brilliant, wish it had been the full concert though with the banter with the audience.
