Im of the persuasion that this isnt their defining work, but after 30 yearsof sulking i finally bought it and, yes its good. The extras haver had a kicking from some revieers, I thought they were fine at this price point.

Top album, not my favourite but a close second to Kiss Me.

Fantastic album. the solemn lyrics and the gorgeous guitar & bass riffs really come together throughout this record. The deluxe edition is well presented and the live album and demo sessions discs that come with it really do make this a complete special item. Thoroughly recommend to any cure fan and especially big fans of the album itself who haven't heard the live album and demos.

Rated as one of the best albums ever by the kids from Southpark!
dark and moody, one album that has stood the test of time.
the remastering has moved it up a notch to an all time classic.
Recommended.

The absolute zenith of their career musically, and one of, if not the, greatest goth rock album ever made.

Worth it for Lullaby and Lovesong alone, and you get three discs with rarities and B Sides as well as a live version, it's great value for money.

The stunning Demo "Fear Of Ghosts" is so good, it should have been developed and put on the original album as it's even better than some of the original album tracks!

That just shows how good The Cure were that even their discarded demos were classics!

Very highly recommended.

If you are looking for an all round Cure album then Disintegration is probably the one to go for, it definitely has a very 80's sound to it ,unlike Pornography and Seventeen seconds which although older have a fresher sound.
