Been looking for Taken By Force for ages at a reasonable price...this was not only a good price but I got two more superb albums into the bargain!I'm delighted!

In trance is probably the greatest song they ever recorded and will always loved by those of us that grew up with them on our turn tables but please don't stop when you've bought this treasure trove; the Scorpions have a whole array of albums that are magnificent- try 'love drive', 'animal magnetism' and some of the new stuff- I actually like an album that has a song on it called 'LUST OR LOVE' - this is one of the most lively I have ever heard!
Still- these albums are a fantastic buy at these prices- 'taken by force' is worth it on its own!

This is the Scorpions at there finest with the genius that is Uli Jon Roth. Which is the best album out of the 3? Hard to say. Taken by Force is probably my personal favourite.

Got into the Scorpions late with their 80's and 90's heyday, except for Wind of Change obviously. Had a green 7" single with tracks off Lovedrive. Anyway, these 3 are from '75,'76, and'77, when UliJon Roth was lead guitarist. The tracks herein are all a bit formulaic, Scorpions are the Status Quo of metal, discuss, but listening to them took me right back to when this was dangerous music, and was just before punk exploded. Scorpions are still here, where's punk gone? These are the three albums that took them from German legends through to European superstars then on to world domination via Japan. Little Klaus sings his socks off. The seeds of greatness are already in place and despite looking like a a gang of serial killers on "Virgin Killer", and then a gay glam band on "Taken by Force", the music has the foundation for the world domination that was to come. Treat yourself to these albums to find out what all the fuss was about. You will not be disappointed. The tracks sound like they were recorded yesterday - Dieter Dierks was weaving his magic in the studio. The Cd's come in cardboard replica sleeves, all in a sturdy outer box. For the money this is daylight robbery.

Mostly great music although some of it is not as fantastic as I had remembered. But no doubt I'll love it again after a few plays.....

The Scorpions was, is and will be. The 70's rock music scene essentially three dominant rock german plates and drawings of the songs finally fulfilled Tokyio Tapes album and became a classic into.Original Album Classics
