Not worth the money
on 5 March 2014
First off some background - I tried Clinique foundation because my skin is quite oily/greasy and I wanted something that would be a decent quality, even my skin tone and most importantly stay put...... This foundation was not it.
I got colour matched in my local John Lewis, as I thought she said I was Alabaster which is their lighest shade and I am very fair. I was suspicious in store because it looked like she never blended it in properly it just "sat" on top of my face. I asked for a sample first to try rather then buy the whole thing (thankfully). When I put it on the next day It takes quite a lot fo effort to blend properly. And on me this left orange streaks on my face! Not light enough I'm afraid and this is as light as they go!
Secondly, it made my face feel even MORE greasy than usual! It has also broke me out in spots on my cheek and forehead which I am not happy about so I stopped using the sample.
Overall, this is not worth the money - it is thick, sits on the skin, is not light enough for very fair skin, and broke me out in spots. ALTHOUGH, I will say this... It has good staying power!! I went back to my old foundation for today and I can see the staying power difference definitely! It just did not suit me :(
