'You get what you pay for'. A quality product.
on 15 June 2012
Because of its price this particular roaster may well be overlooked in favour of others that look similar but sold cheaper. However, if you believe in the adage 'You get what you pay for' then stretch yourself that little extra for this superior quality roaster.
It is slightly bigger than many other oval roasting tins, allowing larger birds and meat joints to be catered for on those special family gatherings. Its true value though lies in its porcelain enamel coating which is of a very high standard and also in its extra weight due to the thicker gauge of metal used in its manufacture. This, I believe, allows it to retain and distribute the heat from the oven more evenly and, of course, its dimpled lid ensures that moisture lifting from the roasting meat, or poultry, condenses to self baste as it drops back over your cooking.
Using this roasting tin you will not fail to cook tender, moist, roasts that require little, or no, attention whilst you get on with other tasks.
