Unwatchable due to sound being out of sync. Tried to wstch multiple times on my PS4 (wired connection, fibre optic) but problem seems to get worse as the movie goes on.

Not sure it is an Amazon issue or an issue with release in general.

Plot. A plane crashes on a remote island. The survivors are a right mixed bunch of characters. Also on the island they find it to be the secret training camp of a terrorist group who are planning atrocities on the USA. The war in the title is between the 2 groups.
Lots of humour, disgusting scenes, over the top dialogue, nudity and a massive body count. The biggest in any Troma movie apparently. Not as gory or as bloody as it could have been though but adequate enough and for me one of the best releases from Troma. Loved it.
Extras include a com, interviews and more on the 10th anniversary edition. USA Release but plays Region zero.

One of Troma's best films to date the basic plot is there is plane crash on an island and the survivors are mistaken for US commandos by a band of mercenaries. The acting is so over the top and pathetic this is the ultimate beer night film. The movie may start a little slow but picks up fast and its literally just non-stop carnage for the whole film and it's done in quite a comical fashion. There is all sorts from random explosions, to siamese twins, even some quite decent gore. I wouldn't say it was too much but it's enough to keep you entertained. The blu-ray itself has amazing restoration i was a bit sceptical as i knew the explosions wouldn't be as bright and effective and it would be nice if it came with a copy of the original but its actually a very good update. There is some audio crackling at a few points but you don't really notice it. There is some nice interviews with cast members and has probably one of the last interviews with Joe Fleishaker before he died but don't quote me on that. Its also quite thin and doesnt take up much space.

This is one of Troma's more successful, more expensive productions. Troma's War! It follows a group of plane crash survivors doing battle with an elite terrorist group who plan to wipe out Tromaville. Wheres the Toxic Avenger when you need him?
Several battle scenes are staged well and are very entertaining considering it's low budget. The acting is deliberately cheesy, with some equally funny dialogue and most of the volence is gratuitous and gory. But to see most of that, you'd Better buy the USA troma directors cut DVD as the majority of it is censored on the uk video, thats why I can achieve it only 3 stars. Despite that, you will still be entertained by the always reliable Troma team.
