The Dillinger Four are a pretty low profile band, which is suprising as they're very good. Their two lead vocalists, one with a throaty hissing voice and the other with a growly shout, work well together doing the same kind of back-and-forth vocals that Rancid do so well. This is the kind of high-speed, sloppy, turbo-charged rock music that actually fits the definition of "punk rock" perfectly. Their lyrics are very well-written, downbeat but delivered at high speed, and mostly carrying a genuine message.
If you like punk, you definitely like this. Definitely!

this band are, without doubt, the best punk band of the modern day. they have boundless energy and riffs which put bands like blink 182 and the like to shame. lyrically they are genius, opting for a more "political/against society and its wrongs" stance rather than the ever more popular approach of singing about how a girl dumped you. they are one of the best live bands too. this album is the best one they've done so far, and with a new one out on fat wreck soon this year, they should definitely be a band to look out for in the future.

If you like your punk loud, brash and full of energy, this is for you. I love all their stuff and this is maybe the pick of them. Dual vocals like they have work so well, I can't understand why more bands don't use that style.
