I have waited in vain for 'Why didn't they as Evans' to be released on DVD. So, although I have the Seven Dials Mystery and the Secret Adversary already, I bit the bullet and bought this. The two make-weights - the Pale horse and this version of Murder on the Orient Express - are not very good and not worth a second viewing, but was it worth paying for a 5 DVD box set to get the one adaption that I wanted? Well, yes. The three main DVDs are from the heyday of television, when the books were correctly adapted and the acting classy. If you don't have any of these and you like Agatha Christie, then rush out and buy this before it disappears - they have a habit of doing that. That fact that it is a Dutch import is of no consequence, it is in English, you just have to turn off the subtitles.
Ideal for a winters eve viewing, can anyone ever have enough of Agatha? especially when well produced. Make sure your DVD player can turn off any German subtitles (unless your German of course)for they can become irritating. This was the only set I could find that contained "Why didn't they ask Evans" as I had never seen it before. Enjoy!
