Got 2 of these stands for my 2 x Samsung P2450H 24-inch and love them!

When they arrived, I first noticed that they had small scuffs on them. They were minor and due to the fact they'd be behind the monitors I didn't worry too much.

The stands were VERY easy to assemble and are very sturdy. The range of movement is fantastic and the cable management is superb!

So why did they only get 4 stars. Well for some reason the screw that holds the tilt function in place must be screwed so hard to hold the monitor in place. if it is at all slightly lose, the monitor just falls forward. Although this only applies to one of the stands. The other one seems to be ok but still requires a lot of pressure.

But to conclude, these are great stands and at good value. I'd definitely recommend them!

EDIT - 03/01/12 - ONLY 2 Stars

These stands were setup and have been extensively used and I must say that my initial review was far too generous. The screws to hold the screens in place both horizontally and tilt have worn or seem to have worn. They need to be tightened to the brink of braking them to hold monitors in place. The tilt function seems to only be able to hold to a certain degree, anything above a point and it just slides back down. The arms have also become rather stiff and takes a great deal of effort to move.

The Horizontal plate that holds the screen height has worn and leaves the monitor to tilt slightly to either side, not keeping it straight and therefore you have to compensate with tilting which doesn't work properly either. It probably wouldn't be so bad if you only had 1 monitor, but having 2 and trying to align them with these stands it just impossible.

Would not buy again. Would spend the extra money and buy sturdier and better stands.

I had expected that a Dell 24in monitor - well within weight spec - would not stress this (desk-mounted) bracket too much, but I'm afraid I was disappointed. Firstly in any position than completely closed up, the support arms sag badly, and it feels quite unsafe. When folded up completely and with the pivots resting on top of one another it is stable. For my purposes this is acceptable; for others, it might not be.

However, it is very irritating that it is not possible to get the monitor perfectly horizontal. This bracket does not have monitor rotation - that is, portrait to landscape - (my fault for not noticing), but is fixed about 2 degrees off level. This may not sound much, but it drives me mad.

I would not buy this model again, even though it was quite easy to assemble and fit.

This mount is excellent. Bought to free space on my desk, and it does a wonderful job of making space and making my desk look professional.

It's very sturdy, tilting and swiveling is flawless, and the cable management is superb. Very easy to assemble. Can even be used as a wall mount. I am using this on a 22" monitor, though the manual says it can support up to 30"

Very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended.

This mount is excellent, assembly takes about 15 minutes. It's a very simple & well conceived bit of kit, so much so it doesn't include step by step instructions, only small line drawings of how it's meant to look.

This is a very versatile modular system; this is the 1406 model which includes the second elbow joint, which allows the monitor to swing out across the desk.

The assembly pack also includes required wall fixings plus hex key and spacers for monitors that have vents or otherwise not relatively flat back plates. Only other tool required is a standard 5mm Phillips screwdriver.

I too had the issue with lack of rotation for horizontal adjustment; however this is easily resolved with some rubber between the desk top and the clamp on one side.
