Following directly on from the first volume in the Radow Show CD collection ( which is really an abridged audiobook edition of Red Dwarf:Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers ) Better Than Life is an Abridged reading of Better Than Life (Red Dwarf) and continues the expanded & alternative telling of the adventures of the crew of the mining ship RED DWARF.

This volume is much, much different from anything seen in series although some of the ideas and concepts have carried over. Conpleting the "better than life" video game story begun in Red Dwarf Radio Show Vol 1 the mis-adventures of the crew are bigger and better than anything that could ever have been done in the series and the story has a very open ending which sets the ground work for the 3rd volume in the Red Dwarf novel universe Backwards (Red Dwarf).

Once again, Chris Barrie's reading is flawless and his impressions of his former co-performers is excellent!!!

If you enjoyed the first installment of the radio show, then you will love this second volume...and which they would get on and go the 3rd and 4th ones.

I bought both cd's to replace this great BBC production I have had on cassette. However there is one problem, these have been edited down from the cassette version and parts are missing. If you are a completist get the cassette.
