Though now sadly departed this would have made a good epitaph for Mr Winter and can't think why I did not review it sooner. This is rated as one of Johnny's best, probably just behind Let Me In (surely the best) and White, Hot and Blue and is full of the excellent guitar work you would expect. The vocals are also nice and gravelly as well. Personal favourites are Mojo Boogie, I'm Good, and Tin Pan Alley. Whilst the steel guitar playing is brilliant it took a while to get my head around a blues song about lesbians (Bad Girl Blues), surely this must be a first? Only one minor criticism though - a couple of the guitar solo's are just a tad too long for my taste. Just because you can it does not mean you have to? Ted Nugent often fell into this trap as well.
