This is my second sharp tv. I had the other one for six years with no trouble. My son has it now. This set is fantastic value for money. It has fantastic freeview performance. The 1080i performance is all you need on a 32" tv and is crystal clear.
Usb port to play divx movies. An earphone socket for my wireless headphones. OPC to automatically dim the screen when turning the lights out etc. Eco modes to save energy. There are loads of adjustments and many advanced settings.
I bought this after a lot of research. If you buy a 1080p set you need a 100hz technology for a clear stable picture and it will cost you twice as much.
Don't waste your money on this size of television! The only weak points are. The EPG is not the best and the sound although adequate could be better. But at this price range it is acceptable. I use it through an amp anyway so it doesn't matter.
This is an excellent tv. I am more than happy with my purchase.
My last sharp television was £1200.00 for a 26". This set just over £300.00 with a three year warranty.
I give this set ***** because it has options that more expensive sets don't have.

After several years use I have passed this on to my grandson as I have now gone 3d. Very reliable. He thinks it is an amazing picture and television also.

This was my first HD TV and was impressed with how it looked with my Xbox 360, however the SD quality is pretty awful. Certain TV channels are very pixellated and look terrible.

When i got my PS3 and I noticed a flickering with the black background and some of the white edges. Then with Blu-ray backgrounds of certain scenes would flicker, with no way to fix or adjust it.

The final straw came when after 2 years we suddenly got a red fuzzy haze surrounding objects on the screen and a lot of black everywhere. It was out of warranty and would cost too much to repair so ditched it.

Overall a lacklustre poor TV that should have been much better.
