Other reviews sum up the strengths of this release but it needs to be seen as an item in its own right. The Paul Temple radio series were serials often with cliffhanger endings to the episodes. They were full of intrigue and mystery in a style that Francis Durbridge (the writer) was famous for. However, these episodes are not written by Durbridge but by a variety of other writers and simply use the Paul Temple characters of Paul and wife Steve.
They are sometimes quite original stories with quirky characters and unusual story lines but bear virtually no resemblance to the radio programmes.
You may still like them but I write this just so people are aware that they are not Francis Durbridge mysteries as per the radio serials.
