When Nostalgia bites and the need for dnb history travelling calls, then spinning Points In Time 2 will satisfy your needs. At least in terms of jazzy, deep dnb/jungle in it's day, when chords and blue notes were pushed just as hard as the beats.
Bukem's original 'Atlantis' is a sublime send back to cool waves of deep soul. A classic to the present day. But all tracks in their unique and varying liquid dnb forms will please most in the way of their quality delivery, as is always sinominous of Bukem's label. A disc of liquid dnb history that shouldn't be forgotten or ignored.
I picked up this CD by chance and it has turned out to be my favourite Drum and Bass CD as the tracks are just perfect chilled out 'clean' drumm and bass. The only track that is not up to scratch is the one that starts off 'ting ting ting ting bass bass' - it can get to you after a while. If you buy this CD, turn the lights off and relax to the last track(9), its absolutely amasing.
nookie and blame together (new balance) bukem the man behind the label, quality seba, intense wisdom and the world renound peshay. if that alone doesn't temp you - if you like atmospherical drum n bass when it was growing like hip hop in the early 90's before it became poppy then you may be pleasently surprised. the guy who wrote above isn't wrong. drum n bass seems to go from strength to strength today and here is why.
